Egypt, Jordan & Pakistan attend meeting to discuss Bitcoin in El Salvador 

Nayib Bukele ,El Salvador President, announced on Twitter that 32 central banks and 12 financial authorities from 44 countries, meet on Monday, May 16, to discuss financial inclusion, digital economy, banking the unbanked, El Salvador’s Bitcoin rollout and its benefits in the country.

Emirates Airlines plans to accept Bitcoin as an official payment method 

Emirates Airlines, UAE’s largest airline, has announced its plans to deploy bitcoin as a payment service. The airline has also announced earlier availing NFT collectibles on its website for trade purposes. 

Dubai to develop its Metaverse Strategy in two months

Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , launches a higher committee to develop the Dubai Metaverse Strategy in two months, following a directive from Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The committee, headed by the Crown Prince, is set to supervise all future technological developments in the UAE, as well as enhance Dubai’s position as a global hub for new metaverse technology.
