Receiving XRP (XRP) from an external address to your Rain account can be done via a QR code or by using your Rain account XRP address. 

 

Requirements: 

1. Rain account. You will need a Rain account to receive XRP.

2. Rain XRP address. You will need your Rain XRP address in order to receive XRP.

If you want to receive XRP using the Rain app,See below for a step by step guide.

 

NOTE: Please ensure to transfer your XRP through the XRP network only.

 

Steps (Rain website): 

1. Log in to your Rain account. 

2. Click on Portfolio.

3. Click on Receive. 

There are two ways to receive XRP in your Rain account, either using your XRP Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

1. Open your external XRP wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.

2. Click on the QR code icon in the wallet application.

3. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your XRP address and destination tag

1. Copy your Rain XRP address and destination tag under "Receive to".

2. Open your external XRP wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.

3. Paste the address and destination tag into your external XRP wallet.

NOTE: You must include the destination tag when you are sending from another wallet or exchange to your Rain account. The destination tag will ensure that XRP will be credited to your account on Rain successfully. 

  

Steps (Rain mobile app):

1. Open the Rain app on your phone. For more information about the Rain app click here.

2. Visit the market or portfolio page and select XRP

3. Tap Trade and select Receive

There are two ways to receive XRP in your Rain account, either using your XRP Address or a QR code.

Method 1: Using the QR code 

1. Hold the device camera over the Rain QR code. 

Method 2: Using your XRP address and destination tag.

1. Copy your Rain XRP address and destination tag in the field under "Share your address". 

2. Open your external XRP wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.

3. Paste the address and destination tag into your XRP wallet containing the funds you want to transfer.
