Rain enables you to buy cryptocurrency using major Middle Eastern currencies. To buy ethereum with Saudi Riyal simply complete the requirements and follow the steps listed below.

Requirements:

1. A verified Rain account. If you haven't already signed up, you can create an account here.
2. Deposit funds into your Rain SAR account. Before you can buy cryptocurrency you need to make a deposit to your Rain SAR account. More information here.

NOTE: We charge a flat fee of 1.5% of transaction value for buys funded with a bank account and 4% for buys funded with a debit or credit card.

Steps (Rain website):

1. Log in to your Rain account.
2. Click on Buy at the top of the page.

   3. Select SAR account.
   4. Select ETH account.
   5. Enter the amount you would like to buy. Click Continue.
You can either enter the value in SAR (e.g. SAR 100) or ETH (e.g. ETH 0.5). 

   6. Review the transaction details. Click Confirm.
For greater security, Two-Step Authentication is mandatory to complete a transaction. You will receive the code in an SMS text message, sent to your registered phone. More information on Two-Step Authentication available here.
   7. Enter the SMS code received. Click Submit.

Once the transaction has been successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation email containing your transaction details.

Steps (Rain app):

    1. Open the Rain app on your phone.
   2. Click on Buy.
   3. Select SAR account.
   4. Select ETH account.
   5. Enter the amount you would like to buy. Click Continue.
You can either enter the value in SAR (e.g. SAR 100) or ETH (e.g. ETH 0.5). Use the arrow on the right side to switch between SAR and ETH.

   6. Review the transaction details. Click Confirm.

   7. Enter the SMS code received. Click Submit.
