At Rain, we recognize the value that security researchers provide to our community, and as such, we encourage the responsible disclosure of any legitimate vulnerabilities. What is a qualifying discovery?
A qualifying discovery should directly involve a security vulnerability relating to, but not limited to, the following: website, mobile applications, and other technological infrastructure. Rain will ultimately decide if a discovery is qualifying or not.
The discovery must be sent to <a href="mailto:bugs@rain.bh" target="_blank">bugs@rain.bh</a> and:

<li>Include instructions to reproduce</li>
<li>Include proof of concept</li>
<li>Include BTC address for compensation</li>
<li>Allow Rain at least 2 business days to respond</li>
</ul>
Some examples of discoveries that would not be eligible include:
<ul>
<li>Findings related to third parties that do not relate to security of the Rain platform (e.g. support.rain.bh, Intercom chat app, etc)</li>
<li>DDoS related attacks</li>
<li>Issues that have previously been discovered by other researchers</li>
<li>Failing to provide instructions to reproduce</li>
<li>Abusing the discovery to negatively impact Rain, or its customers, in any way</li>
</ul>
What type of compensation is provided?
All qualifying discoveries will be compensated in BTC. The minimum valid reward is $100, with no maximum.

How it works

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">They will then need to complete their account sign up and verify their account within 7 days of clicking the referral link to receive $20.</li>

If your friend then visits Rain and initiates a buy, sell, swap, or deposit of $500 USD or more (or 500 USD equivalent of your domestic currency) within 180 days of opening his or her account, you will both receive a $30 (or 30 USD equivalent of your domestic currency) referral bonus paid out in BTC.

Why did my referral bonus not show up?

Downtime comes in two varieties: planned downtime and unplanned downtime.

This way, we make sure that our customers are aware of the outage and are prepared in advance. Customers will also be reminded of the downtime an hour before the outage on the set date via Twitter or email. Unplanned downtime can occur at times as a result of internal or external technical errors. As the team works on resolving the issue, updates will be posted on an hourly basis to keep customers informed.

All the written complaints will be acknowledged in writing only. All complaints received via writing or email will be acknowledged with a reference number within 5 business days of receipt of the complaint. Final response will be sent to the customer in writing, explaining the position and Rain’s decision within 30 calendar days of receiving the complaint. 
Rain’s response time will depend on the complexity of the case. Rain will, however, keep the customer updated with the progress of the case from time to time.
<h2>Unresolved Complaint Policy:</h2>
If the customer does not receive a reply from Rain within 30 calendar days or is not satisfied with the final decision, the customer has the right to refer the case to the Central Bank of Bahrain’s (CBB) Compliance Directorate within 30 calendar days from the date of receiving the final response. If the official complaint filed by the customer is in response to Rain’s operative Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Rain will respond to the customer citing the official policy.
